Students, faculty, industry and community professionals shared and discovered the benefits of engaging in collaborative research partnerships. York President and Vice-Chancellor Mamdouh Shoukri, Vice-President Research and Innovation Stan Shapson, and Atkinson Dean Rhonda Lenton provided opening remarks on research at York and its implications for local and global communities. Dean Lenton also presented the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Research and the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.
Followed by their presentations were compelling discussions by Atkinson researchers and their community and industry partners:
