Palestinian Women in the Second Intifada

Dr. Fadwa Al-Labadi teaches Sociology and Women's Studies at Al-Quds University, East Jerusalem and is a Visiting Scholar at York University in the MCRI "Diaspora, Islam and Gender Project." She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Kent, Canterbury, UK.

Dr. Al-Labadi was Editor of "Kul Al-Nisaa" Women's Magazine, and Editor-in-Chief of " al- Mar'a" Magazine. She has taught at BirZeit University and served as Member of the Executive Committee of the Federation of the Palestinian Women's Action Committee, Jerusalem. Her main research interest is women and citizenship in post-colonial Palestine.
