Workshop on Research Methodology and Ethics

in relation to the study of DIG

Introduction

The educational/training workshops on “Research Methodology and Ethics”, designed specifically for students, community workers and scholars from the Palestinian Territories and Jordan, took place at York University in Toronto, Canada. The workshops brought together researchers and a selected number of community workers from Palestinian and Jordan with their Canadian counterparts. Ideas, concepts, theories and research methods were introduced in the spirit of recognizing diverse sources of knowledge, and the respectful understanding and appreciation of struggles, sufferings and triumphs of the members of the communities involved.
