Teaching Activities
My main work at York is teaching in the
undergraduate business programme in the Faculty of Liberal and
Professional Studies. I also teach in the
Women's Studies programme, and as a member of the Faculty of Graduate
Studies, I
serve as Thesis
Supervisor, Major Paper Supervisor, Secondary Advisor in the Faculty
of Environmental Studies, and as Committee Member in the Interdisciplinary Studies
Programme. I also supervised a PhD student in Native Studies at
Trent University, Dr. Sandi Warren of Athabasca University.
My proudest accomplishment is being awarded the Atkinson Teaching Excellence
Award in 1996, particularly special because it is given by the
students.
